I had posted the takeown.exe utility some time ago where you can change the ownership to the current user in Vista quickly. however, recently, I had found a easier way. Just install the following registry. You will then end up with a Take Ownership option in your right click context menu. This is much quicker and much easier to use.

If somehow you wanted to remove this, just double click on the remove registry file and its gone.
