Asus Xonar Drivers for Windows 10

For a long while, Asus did not have the drivers for Windows 10 for their Xonar range of soundcard and somewhere in the end of last year, it seems they finally rolled out the Windows 10 soundcard drivers. Those of you who make do with the Unified drivers can finally upgrade to the official drivers if you want to.

Go find your card and download the latest drivers from there :

Hasta La VISTA, Windows!

Ya, it must be mad to go into vista now! This is a follow up to the hardware (in)compatible post. NO sound works probably in Vista, except than those on boards one… What a satire right? And guess what? According to the latest DirectX 10 specs, there will not be EAX, A3D or whatever. Basically, DirectX drops the whole sound acceleration idea. What’s the reason behind this I can only guess. Does it has something to do with Xbox 360 and loust gaming PC… Emm

Anyway, I guess for soundcard its just the same like scanner. Lets wait and see...
