Taiwan Food at Jurong East Center

I hardly recommend food. However, this is one store which I pay Kopitiam price (actually its really a Kopitiam foodcourt) but get good service. I ordered a beef rice set which comes with soup and side dish. Because the beef was already cook with bean shoots, she had even changed by side dish which is the same thing to sweet sour vegatables... The owner is pretty friendly too.
And how much did I have to pay... emm... $4 or $4.50 I can't remember... Its good price and good food. I just hope they can keep it up. Well, ya I know the plates are emptied cos I finished everything. Hehe :P

For kids only

Have you ever seen this? Emm, can anyone explain to me the logic why is there something which can only be ordered by kids? Who in the first place don't pay for it and second what reason is there keeping an adult to consume it?

I did not think its cheaper anyway... In fact, the looks of things is very likely going to make whoever is paying pay more anyway. So what is stopping an adult to order 2 of these? The restuarant did not want to earn his money? Emm... This is really puzzling...

Unless they put in something there that is only suitable to be comsumed by children... And what can that be? ...

The Bird-Flu is here?

Actual photo taken at Boon Lay Point... YES, I insist of calling it Boon Lay point because its in Boon Lay, not Jurong. Why can't people just name places with some directional sense.

Everytime you see some dead bird anywhere now, people will make a big fuss and say the Bird Flu is here...

So, here is my turn...

BIG deal. Birds die everyday... IF you are so afraid of the B-virus then go live in a rented silo in Siberia.

Puff the Magic Dragon

Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Hanalei,
Little Jackie Paper loved that rascal Puff
and brought him strings and sealing wax and other fancy stuff.

Oh, Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Hanalei,
Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Hanalei

Together they would travel on a boat with billowed sail,
Jackie kept a lookout perch on Puff's gigantic tail,
Noble kings and princes would bow whene'er they came,
Pirate ships would low'r their flags when Puff roared out his name.

Oh, Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Hanalei,
Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Hanalei

A dragon lives forever but not so little boys
Painted wings and giant strings make way for other toys.
One great night it happened, Jackie Paper came no more
And Puff that mighty dragon, he ceased his fearless roar.

His head was bent in sorrow - green scales fell like rain,
Puff no longer went to play along the cherry lane.
Without his lifelong friend Puff could not be brave
So Puff that mighty dragon, sadly slipped into his cave.

Oh, Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Hanalei...

And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Hanalei
